ITINERARY

DAY 01 : Cochin

Your honeymoon Kerala starts right from your arrival at Cochin. Upon arrival our representative heartily greets you and assists you to transfer you to the Hotel. After freshen up day free for sightseeing. Visit historic Jewish Synagogue which is surrounded by dozens of antique shops which sell souvenirs and antiques. Later proceed to The Chinese fishing nets at the harbor mouth. This is a technology that came in from China about 700 years ago. Even today they use the same technology to catch the fish and are a treat to watch the fishermen operate. Plenty of photo opportunities Nearby the St.Francis Church with a history of 500 years. The remains of Vasco Da Gama were buried. Vasco was the first European Sea farer to venture into Asia and Changed the course of world history. Evening we will take you through the outskirts of the city (20 kilometers) to Kerala History Museum where you will see a light and sound show (One hour) depicting the history of the citivilisation of the state of Kerala. An art gallery with the finest collections in the same campus is an added attraction at the end transfer to hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 02 : Cochin-Munnar

Morning after breakfast drive to Munnar (140 km/4 hrs). The meandering road that head towards Munnar is amazingly beautiful and offers you to enjoy scenic vistas of natural beauty. As you pass through the thick forests, pepper cardamom, rubber plantation and lovely waterfalls, you will surly fall in love with the nature and will seduce your mind for romance. On arrival at Munnar, check into the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 03 : Munnar

After early morning breakfast, today enjoy the full day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Here enjoy the refreshing beauty of nature with well organized tea gardens, beautiful mist kissing romantic green meadows as you visit to Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai and Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary, which is also a home to rare and endangered species of Nilgiri Thar or Mountain Goat. Later return back on time to the hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 04 : Munnar - Periyar

Enjoy the early morning breakfast at the hotel and later we drive to Thekkady (120 Kms/ 4 Hrs). Throughout the journey enjoy the panoramic view of Western Ghat Hills covered with lush green plantation of spices and occasional view of the waterfalls and streams. Upon arrival check into the hotel, after some rest experience the beauty of the surrounding areas and see varied species of wild animals and colourful birds as you enjoy the cruise over the calm and crystal clear Periyar Lake (Optional). Return back on time for a dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 05: Periyar - Kumarakom

After morning breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Kumarakom (115 Kms 3 Hrs.) Upon arrival check into the hotel, after some rest experience the beauty of the surrounding areas and visit bird sanctuary spread across 14 acres is safe home for many migratory birds like Siberian stork, wild duck etc. They live with other birds in flocks such as darters, herons; egret, waterfowls and cuckoos are fascinating sight for the visitors. The beautiful paradise stocked with mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut trees comprises with water ways and canals adorned with white lilies enchants the tourist from world over. The land is famous for it's painstakingly hand craft each exquisite piece still made in a traditional way.

DAY 06: Kumarakom - Alleppey

After morning breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Alleppey (50 Kms, 1 Hrs).check in at houseboat. Sit and relax at the heavenly ambience of the houseboat and enjoy the scenic vistas emerald green paddy fields, rustic village, terrific temples and lovely waterfalls. In the evening delight in watching the sun-set from the houseboat deck as the golden slumbers of the sun get ready to bid everyone of us good night. DAY 07: Houseboat (Alleppey) - Poovar

Enjoy the morning breakfast amidst the heavenly ambience of the houseboat sitting amidst the tranquility of nature. Later drive to Poovar (215 Kms, 3 ½ Hrs) which is considered to be one of the finest beach in the world. On arrival check in at hotel. Later enjoy romantic time as the beach at Poovar where your mind will be seduced for romance by the wonderful view of the waves embracing the virgin sands. Later return back on time to the hotel after spending romantic time amidst the blissful ambience. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 08 : Poovar - Kovalam

After morning breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Kovalam (160 Kms, 3 ½ Hrs). Kovalam is not just one single beach but cluster of three beaches lined one after another. Visit the Lighthouse Beach, Hawah Beach and Samudra Beach on Honeymoon in Kovalam. Vizhinzam Mosque is worth watching on the Lighthouse Beach.
